Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited online applications for Multi-Tvsking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025 for the posts of 1075. A General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) under Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance. Brief About SSC, Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) examination, which includes the roles of “Multi Tasking Staff” (MTS) and “Havaldar” as separate positions within the same recruitment framework. MTS personnel are responsible for a range of routine administrative, technical, and support functions in government offices, whereas Havaldars, in addition to these responsibilities, may also engage in physical activities such as watch and ward duties. Both roles are classified as Group C non-gazetted, non-ministerial positions across various government departments.
