Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited online applications for Group „B‟ Non-Gazetted posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Senior Translator for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India. Max. Age Limits (As on 01-08-2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 Year
- Maximum Age: 30 Year.
- Candidates born not before 02.08.1995 and not later than 01.08.2007 are eligible to apply.
- The maximum age limit is Relaxable (See Notification).

Selection Process:
- Minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Examination (Paper -I) are as follows:
(i) UR: 30%
(ii) OBC/EWS: 25%
(iii) All Other Categories: 20%
- Based on the marks scored in the Paper-I, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II (Descriptive Paper)
- Based on the performance in Paper-I & Paper-II, candidates will be considered for final selection.
- Final selection and allocation of Ministry/ Department/Organization will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I & Paper-II and the preference of Post(s)/Department(s) exercised bythem.
